Rainy Thursday

Mornin'!  It's 72° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 96% with a dew point of 71°.  Breezes are South at 2-4mph.  We're covered with clouds and other than that high humidity, we're dry.  We're to expect rain today though.  There's a 100% chance of showers and/or thunderstorms today as temps stay around the mid-70s with N-NW winds at 10-15mph.  There's also a couple warnings posted... Small Craft Advisory, Dangerous Rip Currents and Localized Flooding Possible today.  Be mindful of those low-lying areas on the island that are prone to flooding.   Tonight... cloud cover clearing late with cooler temps down to the low-60s and NW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... Ms Sun returns with a high of 76° and NW winds at 10-20mph.  The weekend's still looking A-OK with plenty of sunshine and temps in the low-mid 70s for both days.  Just an fyi... there's a Tropical Storm "Mindy" that landed on the Florida panhandle and is heading up through northern Florida, south Georgia and southern South Carolina as I type but will be tracking into the Atlantic ocean later today and thankfully we'll only feel her effects by way of dangerous rip currents.  We won't see any of the heavy rain or winds. There's also Hurricane Larry out in the Atlantic with its sights on Bermuda.  It's not supposed to hit our Coast but will skirt the continent causing you guessed it... very dangerous surf (big swells for the Surfers) and rip currents.  By the way, we're officially in the Peak Of Hurricane Season!  Uh-oh, and the clouds just opened up and rain just started falling.  Mic drop.
