More Winter Loveliness On Tap

Mornin'!  It's 38° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under starlit, pre-dawn skies with light breezes out of the W-SW at 3-7mph.  It's another "keeper" today.  Expect plenty of sunshine with temps in the low-50s (not a typo)!  Winds will be out of the W-SW at 5-10mph.  Some afternoon clouds could filter in but for the most part, a sunny day.  Tonight... light cloud cover with temps back down into the mid-30s with light and variable breezes.  Tomorrow... more of the same; sunshine and temps in the upper 40s.  Saturday... still mild temps, and a bit more cloudy.  Sunday... a wet cold front is heading over the island with occasional snow showers, stiff breezes out of the N-NW at 10-20mph and temps in the low-mid 30s.  Get out and enjoy the next few days!  Oh, and by the way, this date marks 12 years (Feb 2010)  that we had a blizzard that crippled Wildwood. We had an equivalent to a Hurricane Category I storm making an almost direct hit to our region encasing us with 24"+ of snow and ice. We were without power for 6 days as all electric lines were down; literally laying on the ground.  I always like to think that if it weren't for that bad boy, we would have never held our fists to the sky and proclaimed that "When this is behind us, we're going to Key West".  And we did.  We left for our very first Key West vacation in less than 2 months after the storm pummeled us.  We've been going faithfully ever since making it our vacation spot year after year!  In some weird way, I have that Alberta Clipper to thank.
