See You Later February!

Mornin'!  It's 33° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under clear skies with a colorful painted horizon as Ms Sun's due up any moment now.  Winds are light out of the North at 8-10mph.  February's going to give us one last beautiful winter's day as she bids adieu.  Expect a sunny day with temps around 40° and N-NE winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy, low around 32° and SE winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... partly sunny, high of 50° with Southerly winds at 10-20mph.  At this time, it appears we won't have any rain until Saturday but I'll keep you posted.  February was certainly kind to us this year as it kicked off with a meltdown of January's snow as well as only giving us a couple frosty (one was a thin white layer of snow on Valentines Day) mornings. I'm sure our snow days are now limited as we very seldom get snow in March. We do get major blustery, relenting, persistent winds that have labeled March "My Least Favorite Month".  I think it's because I'm a Philly girl and in the big city, March provided lots of Spring-time peeks of warmth as well as the beginning of blooms and buds and a feeling of nice weather right on the doorstep.  Not here along the Coast.  March roars like a Lion here.  It can be very annoying.  I have to admit that last year, March wasn't as brutal as it usually is and one can only hope it repeats this year.  March will kick off with not only winds tomorrow but a New Moon as well.  Those high tides will be much higher than normal!  Until next year February... Cheerio!
