Stormy Friday

Mornin'!  It's 68° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 82%.   Winds are barely there out of the South at 5-9mph.  It's cloudy but we'll probably see peeks of sun off and on this morning.  It's looking like a gray day up ahead though with 90% chance of rain beginning this afternoon.  There's a potential for afternoon storms passing through as well as damaging winds.  That includes the possibility of severe thunderstorms. Temps will be in the low-70s with S-SE winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... 50% chance scattered thunderstorms with partly cloudy skies after midnight.  Again, there's a potential for severe storms.  Temps will drop down to the low-60s with N-NW winds.  Tomorrow... partly to mostly sunny, temps in the upper 70s and NW breezes at 5-10mph.  Sunday... sunny, temps in the upper 70s with NW winds becoming SW at 5-10mph.  Monday... mostly sunny, temps in the mid-70s with E-SE winds at 5-10mph.  The New Moon is Sunday and the high tide times are already much higher than normal so be aware of those low-lying areas on the island.  Learn (or ask someone) the streets that are potential flood risks.  And, don't drive through flood/tide waters or park in a flood-prone area.  The undercarriage of your vehicle will take on some serious salt-water damage.  The island's filling up with people for the Barefoot Country Music Festival this weekend.  I'm sure there are many, many folk who don't have a clue about tidal/coastal flooding.
