Mornin'! It's 69° in Wildwood NJ. Ms Sun's up but not making it through the hazy sky. It appears that we're still dealing with those fine particles of smoke in our thick, unhealthy air due to those Canadian wildfires. There's "Code Orange Air Quality" still posted until midnight tonight. Humidity's 92% with a dewpoint of 64° and breezes are barely there out of the South at 1-3mph. So, June's just about outta here. She's always a quickie that's for sure. For this last day of June... a mix of sun and clouds, with areas of smokey haze possible. It all depends on the the direction of the breeze and by later today the breeze will be out of the South, then S-SE so we may see the blue sky again. It remains to be seen that's for sure. For now... "white" sky. Today's temps... mid-upper 70s with South breezes at 5-10mph. Tonight... mostly clear, temps in the upper 60s and S-SE breezes at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... except for afternoon clouds, partly to mostly sunny with temps in the mid-upper 70s and SE breezes at 10-15mph. Sunday... waking to rain along with the possibility of stormy conditions throughout the day... hail and gusty winds are posted. Monday... partly cloudy with a stray shower or thunderstorm possible throughout the day (25% chance). Tuesday... mostly sunny, temps in the low-80s and winds out of the W-NW and W-SW. As July waits in the wings... until next year June... see ya on the other side!

I don't like the idea of smokey haze becoming the new norm. Recently I ran across the term Marine Fire, an oxymoron for sure, describing underwater temperature changes sweeping through that waterscape.
