A Mixed Bag

Mornin'! It's a mixed bag today. It's still dark with dense fog over the island this very early morning. I'd wager...in one hour from now...no sunrise to be seen. So, here's the mixed bag...intense fog, mist and periods of light rain, mild temps (45° now and heading up into the mid-upper 50's today), the gales are back (Southerly winds @ 15-25mph with gusts), making for that noisy freight train sound (ocean's roaring, winds are howling as I type and are only going to get more intense). So, here's the best part...this wild wildwood weather will continue all morning until peeks of sun appear this afternoon. But, once that happens...clouds move in again and this time with Gale force winds out of W-SW at 20-40mph with 50-60mph gusts! Gale's aren't giving up (good luck if it's your trash collection today). And, due to all this quick changing movement in the unstable weather...we'll have a chance of thunderstorms along with the rain later today! I think I covered it all. Except for the white stuff and that's not happening. In fact...last night's rain took all WW's snow away! Lawns are green/and or brown again. High tide:1:22p.m.: Low tide:7:24a.m.; Ocean temp:42°. Tomorrow's Plunge weather...mostly sunny and mid-upper 40's and only a light breeze! I couldn't imagine if it were today. 23 days until Spring!

Gale is back!! And my house began to twitch... whew, trash day this a.m. made for an even trashier mess with containers blown all over the streets. Snow, rain, wind, even sandblasting! So. Jersey has it all!

We've already had our "onion snow", so the possibility Sunday is for our "orange snow" (aren't you glad I didn't say 'banana'?),:-)
