Record Heat today

Mornin'! It' currently 47° in Wildwood. It's still dark, a bit hazy and damp, but the skies are brightly lit by the full moon (slight haze around it) as well as by my neighbor's overbearing, bright, backyard spotlight that remained on all night long (hate that...should be banned). The stars are shining. The breeze is calm and nothing significant to write about. Oh...and the ocean's very loud this early morn which is also providing a heavy smell of the sea over WW. It's all good as we're going to see a mostly sunny day with temperatures breaking records as long as the land breeze (W-SW 10-15mph) wafts over the island. We could see temps in the high 60's and may break records by hitting the 70° mark. The weekend will have more seasonable temps in the mid-upper 40's and like I said yesterday, Winter may have a curtain call in store for us next week as cold temps and flurries are predicted by Tuesday so don't pack the winter clothes away just yet. I'm just saying. High tide:7:04a.m.; Low tide:1:26p.m.; Ocean temp: 42°; Full moon rise today: 6:27p.m. (keep an eye on those tidewaters!) 30 days until Spring!
