Weekend's fast approaching

Sunset Seat at the Coconut Cover
Mornin'!  It's 54° in WW.  Loverboy's "Everybody's working for the Weekend" won't leave my music mind.  But, it is an oldie but goodie to get those weekend juices flowing.  Plus, it seems to work for me.  I'm going to do everything I can to keep "Last Dance" out of my music mind today...although RIP Donna Summer!  Loved her.   One more weekend and the show begins.  That is...the island becomes a population from 15,000 to 300,000!  (I guess the weather will be a determining factor too). Bring it I say.  Ok...let's talk weekend weather shall we?  The sun just rose and is pouring in the front windows. It'll be mostly sunny today with mild conditions albeit cooler and breezier than the mainland.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-upper 60's.  Winds will be out of the E-NE at 15mph (they're 7-9mph at the moment) and later will gust a bit at 20-25mph.  It'll be pretty much the same tomorrow but a bit more cloudy.  The clouds will filter in all day tomorrow and continue to do so until Sunday when rain is a possibility (for now it's 30% chance).  Isn't sounding like great beach weather but the Scouts won't back down and will continue to camp there all weekend long for their Beach Jam.
High tide:6:56p.m.
Low tide:12:32p.m.
Ocean temp:59°
Sunset:8:10p.m.

15,000 to 300,000: that's not a population shift, that's an explosion!

How about Donna Summers' Enough is Enough? Last Dance? Hot Stuff? She deserves a mention, right?
