Mornin'! It's 55° in Wildwood. Yeah...you read that right. It'll barely be tapping 60° today too. However, it's cloudy and windy (S-SW) and oh what a night (in the words of Frankie Valli)! We had the intense rains and winds happening big time all night long. But, everything seems to be intact. The willow is practically naked but still standing. It's still lightly raining and all forecasts are pointing to periods of rain throughout the afternoon/early evening. This Nor'easter will be pretty much out of here taking the warmer temps (dropping in the 40s) and leaving its winds out of the W-NW at 30-40mph +gusting. Surf's up with 10-12' waves. Tonight the temps will drop into the 30s as those intense winds may be blowing out the first Menorah candle for the start of Hanukkah at sundown. The Sun's going to check in for Thanksgiving tomorrow and stay for a few days. First time since 1888 that these two holidays overlapped!High tide:2:38p.m.
