What are those things in the photograph today???
Thanks,
T
Hi T! Hope all is well. Those things in today's photograph are called "beach boxes". Wildwood and Wildwood Crest have very large beaches and someone had an idea to put beach boxes in the middle of the beaches. During the summer season, they're rented out for seasonal fees $400.00+. Folks who don't enjoy the lugging of the beach stuff from their homes or rentals now have an option to store all their beach stuff right on the beach. Those in the photo seem to be stored probably temporarily on the marbles tournament rings. As Wildwood holds the National Marbles tournament here on the beach each summer. The Mibsters are in town for that 4-day event. https://www.nationalmarblestournament.org/ By the way, those beach boxes are removed from the beaches in September and stored away for the Winter. Hope that answers it!
