Last Of The Lousy Weather Wednesday

This Morning's WebCam Shot - N.Wildwood
Mornin'!  It's 58° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under gray skies as the clouds appear to be clearing away.  It's misty and damp.  Humidity's 100%.  Breezes are out of the North at 10-15mph.  It's been 6 days since we've seen any sign of Ms Sun and today may likely be the 7th day.  Expect a gray, cloudy day with showers (70% chance) and North winds at 10-20mph and temps in the mid-60s.  Tonight... gray and possibly foggy with 20% chance of showers as the clouds begin to clear into the overnight.  Temps will be around where they are now... upper 50s with North winds finally beginning to settle down at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... kicking off the day with patchy fog as Ms Sun has plans to burn off the haze as she's intending to begin shining over the island and begin the drying out and warmth that we've been missing this last week.  Temps will be in the low-70s with NW winds becoming West by the afternoon at 5-8mph.  Tomorrow night... mostly clear with temps in the upper 50s and light and variable breezes.  At this time, the weekend's looking fine with sunny skies, temps in the low-mid 60s and light breezes.  Seems like we made it through the remnants of the outer bands of Ian that obviously overstayed his welcome.  But, thankfully no damage to report.  The beach in North Wildwood took a serious hit as the storm chopped off the beach and the ocean took the sand that was collected all last winter and dispersed before the summer season. We had none of that intense street flooding yesterday as the weather-folk predicted.  The car's back and in the driveway as the blower and broom are in the shed waiting to start the clean up. All those winds and tide water make for a dirty island that's for sure.
