October's Here!

Mornin'!  Welcome October!  It's 63° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 97% with a dewpoint of 64°.  It's raining.  And, the winds are off the chart... NE at 25-35mph sustained with gusting at 40+mph.  Wildwood's been seeing the outer remnants of Ian since late yesterday and overnight brought some bands of rain and non-stop winds.  It'll be another windy day with NE winds at 25-35mph +gusting with steady rains (90% chance) and a high of 69°.  Tonight... rain showers (60% chance), temps in the low-60s and NE winds at 15-25mph. Tomorrow... windy with periods of rain (80% chance), high near 65° and NE winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Monday... rainy and cold with a high near 55° and those Nor'easter relentless winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Strap in.  All weekend events as we knew them are canceled.  That includes, the Oktober Fest, the Italian Fest, the Race of the Gentlemen, Surf Fishing Tournament and the Wildwood Crest City Yard Sale... all canceled with no rescheduled dates due to this weekend's Nor'easter.  October's always been considered the "heart of the hurricane season" and I'm very thankful that we're not in the midst of one of them.  This Nor'easter is scary enough.  Be safe out there!
