Gray Tuesday

Cape May NJ
Mornin'!  It's 54° in Wildwood NJ.  It's dark, gray and a bit misty outside. Everything's wet and drippy. Breezes are out of the S-SE at 10-15mph.  It's one of those perfect days to roll over and pull the comforter closer... thus, the late blog entry.  We're about to have a couple dreary wet days.  Time to make some time in the kitchen. Making homemade soup not to mention the Christmas cookie dough is on the activity calendar today.  Today's soup will be "Pumpkin Bisque" as the outdoor, porch pumpkins (and pumpkin seeds) got roasted over the weekend while the tree got decorated.  It's all happening.
For the weather... expect this morning mist to turn into light rain with showers due in this afternoon.  Temps will be a tad warmer than they should be this time of year at 60° with winds ramping up out of the S-SE at 10-20mph.  Tonight... cloudy and more rain with temps in the low-50s and South winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... gray with occasional rain showers (50% chance), temps in the upper 50s and S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Don't forget the Full Moon is tomorrow.  I'm not sure we'll see it with the wet weather settling in but it will certainly have its effect on the tides... much higher than normal.  Expect some areas to have that ol' coastal flooding.  Know those "low-lying" areas on the island and don't drive through flood waters!
