Last Day Of Autumn

My Daughter and her Tree
Mornin'!  It's 31° in Wildwood NJ.  Feels like 23° with the wind chill.  The winds are currently out of the N-NW at 10-15mph.  It's clear with Ms Sun up and shining brightly in the clear, blue sky.  And, it's the official last day of Autumn.  Winter's-a-knocking!  Tomorrow's the first day of Winter aka The Winter Solstice (the day with the shortest amount of daylight).  And, today and tomorrow will be sunny.  Expect sunshine today with temps tapping 40° with NW winds at 10-15mph making it feel like 30°.  Tonight... clear skies, temps in the upper 20s and winds light and variable.  Tomorrow... sunny, temps in the low 40s and NE winds at 5-10mph.  This winter storm traveling across the country will be checking in here Thursday late in the day bringing rain and winds and much warmer temps (low-50s) and it will continue throughout the night into Friday.  By Friday evening, the rain will begin to head off the island but as it leaves, the frigid temps check in (mid 20s feeling like single digits with the windchill from the very blustery winds).  It's looking like an icy cold Christmas Weekend.
