Mornin'! I'm back! It feels good to be back in the salt air! It's 40° in Wildwood NJ. Ms Sun's shining brightly. Winds are out of the NW at 8-10mph. It's the calm before the storm. We're going to have a lovely day with sunshine, temps in the mid-40s and NW winds at 5-10mph. Tonight... a few passing clouds, temps in the upper 30s with SE winds at 10-15mph. Tomorrow... showers in the morning becoming a steady rain by the afternoon. It'll be windy and raw with winds out of the E-SE at 25-35mph. Temps (thankfully) won't be low and cold enough for snow as they'll be in the low-mid 50s. Chance of rain is 100%. Rainfall will be near a half inch to an inch. Winds could occasionally gust over 50mph. Also, we're very close to the New Moon (Thursday the 11th) and I don't have to tell you how extreme the tides are during New Moons and Full Moons when you add heavy rains and winds. These winds that are coming will have their way with our Coast no doubt. Strap in. And, count our blessings this isn't snow! Wednesday... a few clouds and breaks of sunshine, temps in the upper 40s and W-SW winds at 20-30mph +gusting. By Wednesday night... it'll be mostly clear and much calmer with temps in the upper 30s. Thankful for not having to shovel yet (even though the shovels and scrapers are out of storage) but more importantly... I got 2 beautiful ham hocks ready for some homemade bean soup. Oh... I had a wonderful babysitting weekend in Bucks County with my two crazy, fun grand kids. Lots and lots of blessings not to mention laughter.
