Mornin'! It's 32° in Wildwood NJ. It feels like 32° too. No windchill this morning as there aren't any winds to mention. Ms Sun's up though and beginning the warm-up for today. We're supposed to get into the upper 40s today with mostly sunny skies and barely a breeze (S-SE at 2-4mph). Tonight... clouds roll in as it'll be a cloudy night with temps in the upper 30s and Southerly breezes at 4-6mph. Tomorrow... starting out partly to mostly cloudy with sunshine in the afternoon. Temps may hit 50°! Winds will still be out of the South at 10-15mph. Saturday... a mostly cloudy day with near record temperatures... low 50s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph. Saturday night... cloudy with a slight chance of a rain shower. Temps will be in the mid-40s. Sunday... mostly cloudy with 25% chance of rain, temps tapping 50° and W-NW winds at 5-10mph. Monday... cloudy with 50% chance of rain. Temps in the upper 40s and East winds at 5-10mph. Monday night... 90% chance of rain, temps around 40° and blustery with winds out of the NW at 15-25mph +gusting. A daily weather forecast of Wildwood, New Jersey. I'm a lover of the weather and more importantly the sea, sand, tides, sunrises, sunsets and moon charts. I've discovered since living here on the island (2004) how different our weather is than the mainland. Or, better yet, the Philadelphia area where I was born and raised. Lucky for me my family spent just about every summer vacationing in Wildwood. I did the same while raising my own children. I'm blessed to have been able to call it home as being "down the shore" full time is pretty amazing. People always ask, "How bad is it in the Winter?" You know what they say... "If you're lucky enough to live by the beach, you're lucky enough." As for this weather thing... I will never get used to the fact that when there's a snowstorm in Philly, it could be a misty/rainy, almost mild Winters' day in Wildwood or if there's a Nor'easter bringing Wildwood to its knees, it could be a cloudy, windy day in Philly. These towns are less than two hours apart. Since my Philly family and friends always assume that I'm having the same weather as the big city, I began blogging about Wildwood NJs weather to keep the record straight.
