Daylight Savings Time Is Here

Today's Webcam Shot - North WW
Mornin'!  It's Daylight Saving's Time!  If you didn't turn all those clocks ahead an hour before turning in last night, you've lost an hour and it's later than you think! Ms Sun rose at 7:17AM and she'll set at 7:01PM!!  It's 45° in Wildwood.  Ms Sun's shining brightly and it's a beautiful morning.  As the coffee's brewing, my husband's frying bacon and whistling "It's A Beautiful Morning".  And, it couldn't be a more beautiful morning if you ask me.  The winds are still whipping though out of the W-NW at 20-25mph +gusting making it feel more like 39°.  But, what do you want? It's March.
There are Advisories Posted today: Coastal Flood Advisory until noon today.  Be aware of the possibility of tidal flooding on the island especially in those low-lying areas as the high tide times as much higher than normal due to today's New Moon, a saturated island and those winds aren't helping.  There's a Gale Warning in effect until tomorrow at 6pm creating 6-9' seas as well as hazardous seas for any vessels out there. And, there's also a Wind Advisory until 8PM tomorrow.  Use extra caution when driving especially high profile vehicles.  Also, don't forget to hunker down (secure trashcans, outdoor furniture, etc).  We're going to have a mix of sun and clouds today with temps just about tapping 50°.  Winds will be stiff out of the W-NW at 25-35mph +gusting to over 40mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy and windy, temps in the upper 30s with W-NW winds at 25-35mph +gusts of up to 50mph.  Tomorrow... partly cloudy and windy, temps in the low-50s and W-NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting of up to 50mph.
