The Rainy Systems Keep Comin'!

Mornin'!  It's 46° in Wildwood NJ.  Another gray start to the day.  It's on the misty/foggy side this morning. Something those heavy clouds provide is the roar of the ocean (a good 10 minute walk away).  I love that sound which isn't always distinct especially on a clear day.  Breezes are out of the E-NE at 5-10mph.  Looks like it'll be another wet day with 100% chance of rain showers, temps in the low-50s and East winds at 10-15mph.  1-2" of rain is expected which could bring about some localized flooding.  Tonight... occasional rain showers tapering into a few showers late tonight.  Temps will drop into the upper 40s with North winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... cloudy, 25% chance of rain, temps in the mid-50s and North winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow night... cloudy, temps in the low-40s and E-SE winds at 5-10mph.  As for this weekend... Saturday will be cloudy with light rain turning to heavy rain Saturday night, temps around 50° and windy E-SE at 15-25mph; Sunday... cloudy and very windy (Westerly 20-30mph +gusting) along with temps in the low-50s as temps drop Sunday evening into the mid-30s and W-NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Since we're once again in the path of another rain system (grateful it's not snow), we have a very probable chance of coastal flooding.  The New Moon is Sunday and will bring higher than normal tides during high tide times.  Be aware of the tide times, low-lying areas on the island and flood sirens.  Those sirens give time to move vehicles and make you aware of rising tide waters.  Don't park in flood-prone areas and don't drive through flood waters.
High Tide: 4:13PM
Low Tide: 10:16AM
Ocean Temp: 44°
Sunrise: 6:23AM
Sunset: 5:57PM
