Sing along with Martha & the Vandellas..."heat wave"

Mornin'! Summer's starting off with a "heat wave" which will be playing all week. It's currently 68 degrees in WW but switch those numbers and you'll have 86 here in no time today. The temperatures are going to rise each day as we head toward the weekend. The sun will be shining throughout most of today although there's a chance of some cloud cover, haze and later today...a thunderstorm. The breeze will be blowing across the island at 10mph. The ocean temperature is now up to 77 degrees. Beach day? Time to dip? If you're on North Wildwood's beach and feeling lucky, you could catch a glimpse of the Martians!

"Heat Wave" reminds me of "Storm Warning"- the song I wrote for Joe Frazier after he left the boxing ring for the performing arena- my only recording contract. It was not written "Under the Boardwalk".

For real?? Now I'm googling "Joe Frazier's Storm Warning" but I'm not getting anything. It most definitely is War of the Worlds at the beach. But we've had that here on our beach, too.
