Hazardous Weather Outlook?

Mornin'!  It's 35° under overcast skies.  There's a hint of a breeze which will turn into winds later.  Okay...we're under a "winter weather advisory" today beginning later this afternoon.  The weather outlook is a Nor'easter heading right for us, but fortunately it has its claws reaching for the New England states.  We'll feel its edge rubbing the coast as it roars on by later today.  All forecasts are predicting a 4pm start as winds will pick up (E-SE) at 17-25mph.  A couple forecasters talked of some major beach erosion with this one (something we don't need).  Depending on the air temperature it'll probably begin as rain as the temps today will be in the high 30s with the possibility of tapping the 40° mark.  Tonight though as the temps drop (mid-high 20s) the rain will turn to a Spring Mix (I couldn't bring myself to call it a "Wintry Mix") and eventually it'll begin snowing and probably snow through most of the night into Wednesday bringing along the possibility of 2-4".  Whew...that was hard to type.  It's getting SO old.  Anyway, everything will melt by Thursday with Ms Sun's warm rays and higher temps.  So, it's all about the "focus".  Either focus on what boots and scarf you'll be donning today or Thursday's blue-sky meltdown.  It's your choice. Oh...87 days until Summer if that helps.

Call HAZMAT: material of a frozen, watery, flaky condition. "Endless Summer" was a good movie. "Endless Winter" sucks.
