Ain't No Sunshine When He's Gone

Mornin'!  It's 33° in Wildwood NJ.  We've got some heavy cloud cover and barely a breeze outside.  There's a N-NE breeze at 2-4mph if you want to call it that.  It's quiet and dark with no sounds of the surf this morning as these thick clouds insulate the island.  No sunshine today.  It'll be a gray, calm day with overcast skies, high of 39° and light and variable breezes.  Tonight... around 7-8pm, expect some rain/snow showers transitioning into rainfall.  Temps will drop to where they are now... low-30s with East winds at 10-15mph.  Chance of precipitation is 70%.  Tomorrow... showers turning into a steady light rain later in the day with a high of 47° and E-NE winds at 10-20mph.  Chance of rain is 70%.  By dinner time tomorrow... the rain clouds will turn into just cloudiness and this so-called storm will be checking out.  Wednesday will be partly sunny with temps in the mid-40s.  Yesterday was the first day that hubby and I went out and took a long drive without Freddy knowing the entire couple hours that there was no rush or reason to have to get home.  Bittersweet.  Today's photos are dedicated to Fred's resting/sleeping/dozing times.

Wow...these photos are beautiful. May I ask what the story is behind the back-scratcher? Did he bring it to you. What started it? I like your stories that you have been sharing with us. Thank you!

@Unknown Freddy loved the back-scratcher! If you had it out he'd tap you with his paw for his turn. If he was minding his own business, you could approach him and use it to scratch his back (or belly) and he was happy as can be! Our grandson loved using it on Freddy.

He looks like a little prince in the photo with his back being scratched. Kim
