Partly Sunny and Blustery

Mornin'!  It's 38° in Wildwood NJ.  It's clear and starlit in the early morning darkness with breezes out of the W-SW at 15-20mph.  The windchill is 26°.  Ms Sun's due to shine today as she'll warm things up a bit.  Expect a sunny to partly sunny day with a high of 46° and W-SW winds staying checked in at 15-25mph.  Higher wind gusts are possible.  Tonight... partly clear, partly cloudy with temps in the low-mid 30s and those W-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny, high of 43° and West winds at 10-20mph.  It looks like we're going to have some blustery winds at least until Wednesday.  Keep those scarves and gloves close at hand.  Adjusting to the quietness in our home without Freddy is still happening.  We're taking it hour by hour and day by day as we move along with the loss of his amazing, remarkable presence.  His absence seems to be in everything we see or do.  Simple things like opening the back porch door (which always got him running), glancing at the front storm door area with him no longer sitting there.  He was forever looking out keeping an eye on anyone passing by or just simply walking by.  Also, the spot in the kitchen with his now empty food/water dish area seems to leave  a tightening in the heart. Hubby and I did a thorough gathering of Freddy's items (crate, blanket, toys, food, treats, shampoo, leash etc.) and took them to the animal shelter which warmed our hearts knowing they would be put to good use.  The tears continue to flow though.   Today's photos are Freddy with our three children (and our grandson).
