Mornin'! It's 71° in Wildwood NJ. Humidity's 87% with a 65° dewpoint. Breezes are out of the N-NW at 2mph. Ms Sun's trying to break through as it's cloudy. Or, maybe smokey from the Canadian wildfires. It'll be partly cloudy and hazy today with temps around 80° and E-NE winds becoming East this afternoon at 5-10mph. Tonight... cloudy, temps just where they are now along with East winds at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a rain shower, temps in the mid-upper 70s and E-NE winds at 10-20mph. Tomorrow night... cloudy, temps in the low-70s and E-NE winds at 10-15mph. Thursday... mostly sunny, temps near 80° and E-NE winds at 10-20mph. As of 5AM this morning, tropical storm Dexter was reported about 300 miles north of Bermuda and is packing winds as it's chugging along the Northeast. The only impact to the East Coast will be very rough surf for the next couple days and eventually traverse to cooler water hopefully dying out. Regardless, this is the time to think about and prepare for the hurricane season. Get the "go-bag" ready with chargers, water, food, paperwork and necessities. Know your evacuations routes. Oh... the Full Moon is this coming weekend. The tide waters will inevitably begin to swell and bloat and fill the beaches and marshes with much higher than normal tides. Know your low-lying areas and always be aware of tidal flooding. Don't drive through flood waters.
