The Windy City

5th Avenue Marina - North Wildwood NJ
Mornin'!  It's 30 balmy degrees in Wildwood this morning!  The Winds won't leave!  They're out of the W-SW at 30-40mph.  We're being rattled here.  My willow tree has been pruned this week for sure as the yard is completely littered with hundreds of switches.  The sky is mostly cloudy as a Clipper is supposed to be approaching the island as I blog this morning.  The doppler looks like Wildwood's in its path as it should be here any moment now.  It could drop a coating of the white stuff as it blows by. Or, it could stay just north of our island and leave the snow for the other islands north of us. By this afternoon skies will become clearer as we see peeks of sun while those relentless winds continue to pull on my willow tree and house. Temps will be in the low-mid 30s.  Tonight...clear and remaining very windy (N-NW) with temps in the high teens / low 20s.  The weekend's looking sunnier and calmer with temps in the mid 20s Saturday and upper 30s on Sunday.
High tide:10:23a.m.
Low tide:4:28p.m.
Ocean temp:42°
Sunset:4:57p.m.
