Wednesday's Winter Wind Chill Advisory

Mornin'!  It's 27° in Wildwood, NJ.  It's currently quiet and cloudy with hardly a breeze.  There's a thin layer of ice on Otten's Harbor. The Winds are the main attraction today coming along a bit later creating wind chills.  Winds Chill occurs when the arctic temps + gusty winds result in dangerously freezing cold conditions.  The W-NW winds will begin later today with a vengance...28-32mph + gusts of 40+mph = hazardous Wind Chills of -10° not to mention hypothermia and/or frost bite on exposed skin if precautions are not taken.  At the moment it's dry except for yesterday's layer of snow that's left walkways, some roads etc...snow covered and icy.  The clouds will eventually clear as Ms Sun will peek in a bit today with temps tapping 30°.  This evening...clouds return as there's a 10% chance of some flurry action taking place.  The winds will still be the star attraction tonight as well as temps returning into the 20s. We're in it now! Layer and bundle up!
High tide:9:04a.m.
Low tide:3:17p.m.
