Today's WebCam Shot - North WW |
Mornin'! It's 66° in Wildwood NJ. Humidity's 96% with a dewpoint of 66°. We couldn't get any more damp outside as everything's still saturated from this weekend's visit from Ophelia. Winds are currently out of the N-NW at 5-7mph and will be kicking up again tonight. It's gray and ominous out there with dark rain clouds all around us. It'll be another cloudy day again today with showers this afternoon. Temps will be just tapping 70° with N-NW winds at 10-15mph. Tonight... cloudy with rain showers and temps in the low 60s. Winds will kick up again out of the NE at 20-30mph. Tomorrow... windy with rain showers, temps in the mid-60s and NE winds rip-roaring at 25-35mph +gusting. Wednesday mostly cloudy with possible random peeks of sun (remember Ms Sun?) if we're lucky some time in the afternoon. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday... rainy days. I'll never get used to gloomy, day after day, wet, rainy days like these. Some parts of our country like the Pacific NW where my sister lives has wet, gloomy days more often than not. You have to be of a certain character to live in a mostly gray, wet climate. It's not for me. I need more sunshine than rain in my day. There's nothing like a full week of sunshine! I looked up some of our country's wettest places:
Hilo, Hawaii
Sitka, Alaska
Sequim, Washington
West Palm Beach, Florida
Seaside, Oregon
High Tide: 5:26PM
Low Tide: 11:07AM
Ocean Temp: 72°
Sunrise: 6:50AM
Sunset: 6:51PM
UV Index: 2
Rip Current: High Risk (don't enter to ocean)
