Monday's Gales...

Mornin'! It's a bit nippy, clear and sunny in WW this morning and remarkable that it's still autumn. Winter's 2 weeks away, but is certainly making its presence known when the temperature is currently 30°. Winds from the W-NW at 15-25mph sustained and gusting at 40mph will make it feel like 18°. These are gale force winds (ocean will be very rough; high waves; have that "white" look and airborne spray blowing in the wind direction). Ocean temp dropped significantly too...it's 45 degrees. Our insulator's (the ocean) is not going to keep this island warmer than the mainland much longer. High tide:7:25a.m.; Low tide:1:55p.m. Oh...I forgot to mention something...as clouds increase today, we might see snow flurries. I'm only reporting what the weather people are saying!
